Women's Flag Football Launches in South Australia

American Football South Australia is excited to announce the launch of our new Women's Flag Football Competition for the upcoming season.

The competition will run on Saturdays alongside AFSA's existing league competitions, providing a new opportunity for women and girls across South Australia to participate in one of the world's fastest-growing sports.

Women's Flag Football offers a fast-paced, non-contact version of American football that combines athleticism, teamwork, strategy, and competition in an inclusive environment.

The introduction of the competition marks another important step in the growth of American football in South Australia and creates a new pathway for players looking to get involved in the sport.

All AFSA clubs are currently recruiting players ahead of the inaugural season, with opportunities available for both experienced athletes and those completely new to the game.
