Who Can Officiate?
Anyone with an interest in football can become an official. You don’t need to have played or coached—just bring your enthusiasm, willingness to learn, and ability to work as part of a team. To get started, you should:

Do Officials Get Paid?
Yes! Officials are paid per game, with rates depending on the level of competition. As you gain experience and move up through the officiating ranks, your compensation increases accordingly.

What to Expect in Your First Year
​
Your first year is all about learning and development. Here’s what you can expect:

Level 1 Certification Clinic – A 1–2 day training session to introduce you to the fundamentals of officiating

Uniform and Rulebook – You'll receive your official uniform and a rulebook to study and reference

On-Field Support – You’ll join a crew of experienced officials who will guide you through your first games, answer your questions, and help you build confidence on the field
