Introducing Touchdown Kids: The Future of American Football Starts Here

American Football South Australia is proud to introduce Touchdown Kids — the new identity for our youth development program, designed to inspire the next generation of players.

Following the success of our previous youth program, Touchdown Kids represents the next step in growing the game at a grassroots level. While the name may be new, the mission remains the same: to provide young athletes with a fun, safe, and supportive environment to learn and enjoy American football.

Over a 10-week program, children aged 8 to 12 will be introduced to the fundamentals of the sport. From passing and catching to movement and teamwork, each session is designed to build confidence, develop skills, and create a love for the game.

Sessions will once again be held at our home facility, Dry Creek Reserve, giving participants a unique opportunity to train in a real game-day environment. Running alongside our junior and senior competitions, Touchdown Kids offers an exciting atmosphere where participants can see the sport in action and feel part of the wider football community.

Touchdown Kids plays a key role in building the future of American football in South Australia. It creates a clear pathway for young players to progress through our junior and senior programs, while also ensuring their first experience in the sport is positive and engaging.
